Peakto by CYME: Jury Favorite at the 2024 Satis Awards

November 5th, 2024 – Montpellier, France.

CYME wins the “Jury’s Favorite” award (Future and R&D category) at SATIS 2024, the Parisian event dedicated to innovation in media, entertainment, and audiovisual communication. The jury of 11 audiovisual professionals selected Peakto, the Media Manager developed by CYME, with its new video-focused features, as the most innovative product.

At this 2024 edition of SATIS, CYME unveils a new version of Peakto. This Media Manager, specifically designed for Mac, allows video creators to gather all their files in a single interface, providing a comprehensive view and centralized search capabilities. Peakto’s Artificial Intelligence analyzes videos, enabling users to find a specific scene from a film with just a description or dialogue snippet.

Peakto - Satis Awards 2024

During the two days of SATIS, November 6 and 7, the CYME team will be at the Paris Docks (Dock Eiffel corner 43) to showcase this new version of their media manager, already renowned for its photo management. Peakto is now compatible with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and soon Da Vinci Resolve. It indexes all video files from various sources in an intuitive and seamless interface without creating duplicates. With the ability to read and search through videos even when original content is offline (unconnected drives, inaccessible NAS), Peakto allows videographers to have all their content at hand, easily find the right sequence, and create a selection for future editing.

Peakto performs AI operations locally on the user’s Mac, ensuring that content remains private and secure. With Peakto, content creators save valuable time during editing and fully tap into the treasure trove hidden on their hard drives.

Compatibility

Peakto can consolidate both video and photo catalogs. It is compatible with Final Cut Pro (beta), Adobe Premiere (beta), Da Vinci Resolve (coming soon), Apple Photos, Aperture, Lightroom & Lightroom Classic, Luminar Neo, Capture One, ON1 Photo RAW, Pixelmator Pro, DxO PhotoLab/PureRAW, Topaz Photo AI, iView Media, FotoMagico, and can connect to folders.
