Confidentiality
The Specio beta program and all non-public information relating to it are confidential. You must not disclose or share screenshots, videos, features, test results, bugs, documentation, download links, pricing, release dates, roadmap information, or any other non-public information about Specio without CYME’s prior written permission.
Beta Software
Specio is pre-release software and is still under development. It may contain bugs, errors, incomplete features or unexpected behavior. It may crash, perform slowly, produce incorrect species identifications, or generate inaccurate keywords or metadata.
Always review proposed identifications and metadata before applying them to your photo library.
CYME may modify, suspend or remove features at any time during the beta program. Features available in the beta version may not be included in the final release.
The beta software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of any kind.
Backups
You are solely responsible for backing up your photos, catalogs, metadata and any other valuable files before using Specio.
Whenever possible, use copies of your catalogs and non-critical media for testing. You use the beta software entirely at your own risk.
License and Use
Your access to the Specio beta is personal, temporary, revocable and non-transferable. It is provided solely for evaluation and testing purposes.
You may not:
- share your account or access with others;
- copy, distribute, rent, lease or sublicense the software;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to bypass any security mechanisms;
- use the software or any part of it to develop or assist a competing product.
Updates
CYME may release updates, fixes or new beta versions at any time during the program. Continued use of the beta software remains subject to these terms.
Feedback
You may be asked to provide feedback, bug reports and suggestions.
You grant CYME the right to use, modify and incorporate your feedback into Specio without compensation or attribution.
You retain full ownership of your photographs, videos and other content.
Intellectual Property
Specio and all related intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of CYME. Participation in the beta program does not grant you any ownership rights in the software.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CYME shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the beta software, including but not limited to data loss, corrupted catalogs, incorrect identifications, inaccurate metadata, workflow interruptions or loss of business.
Termination
CYME may suspend or terminate your participation in the beta program at any time, with or without notice, particularly if you breach these terms.
Upon termination, you must stop using the beta software and, if requested by CYME, uninstall it. Your confidentiality obligations will continue after your participation ends.
